Does the student have to give any entrance examination before joining for the MBBS/BDS in universities or colleges in India or Abroad?
Entrance examination is now mandatory almost for every course, as per medical course is concern MCI is now made it very clear that the student who want to study medical in India or Abroad has to clear NEET-UG Examination conducted by CBSE, and to clear NEET examination student should get minimum 50% marks and 40% for the OBC/ SC/ ST categories. And this has become compulsory effective from 1 may 2018.
What is the Eligibility Criteria to get admission for pursuing MBBS in India and Abroad?
The eligibility criteria to pursue the MBBS/BDS course, you need get higher secondary marks of minimum 50% in science stream, subject like physics, chemistry & biology etc and 40% to OBC/SC/ST candidates. MCI has made it very clear and mandatory the minimum age of student should be 17yrs. or above can to do MBBS in India & Abroad. Also as we mention above to qualified NEET-UG Examination is mandatory.
